ZIUA de Constanţa newspaper's website, the victim of a cyber attack

ZIUA de Constanţa newspaper informs its readers that the publication's website has been the victim of a cyber attack since the evening of May 12th. Due to this attack, the newspaper was not accessible online. Moreover, no administration account of the publication was accessible, this making impossible any update information in real time.

However, it is clear that the attack the publication was facing with was very high - 1.5 gigabytes / second and that, once the source of the attack will be identified, its name will be made public.

ZIUA de Constanţa newspaper has a 12 years tradition and an average of over 300,000 unique visitors per month.

It is unfortunate that, in 2013, the press is subjected to such attacks, which we regard as unacceptable abuses. However, we ensure our readers that ZIUA de Constanţa newspaper is not going to cede to any kind of pressure and will not give up its ambitions: accurate information and opinions in real time every day.
