Shocking case in Constantza. An Italian citizen accidentally shot his son-in-law during a fowling. The stupid accident took the man's life and destroyed the life of his father in law.

The tragedy took place Sunday afternoon, on a hunting field between Nicolae Balcescu and Targusor. The father-in-law, Alberto Giovanni, age 67, and his son-in-law, Lorenzo Pirisino, age 37, had come fowling with a group of Italian friends. The two men were waiting to shoot the birds, but when the father-in-law aimed the fowling piece to the sky, it gone off in his son-in-law who was standing in front of him. A small shot went through the man's back, under his right shoulder bone. He fell to the ground bleeding. His father-in-law went into shock. People called 112 and shortly after a SMURD team arrived at the scene to provide assistance to the victim. Doctors tried tens of minutes to bring him back to life but the man couldn't stand it and he had a cardiac arrest and died. His body was taken to the Central Cemetery Morgue for the autopsy in order to discover the exact cause of death. At the scene arrived local authorities, a team from Weapon, Explosives and Toxic Substances Department and a criminal (WETS) prosecutor. The fowling was confiscated by the policemen of WETS for examination. Local authorities have opened a big investigation in this case and the man who accidentally unloaded the fowling is being investigated for involuntary manslaughter.
