cap_4.jpgA Romanian woman was sentenced for fraud to four years of prison in the US.

Forty years old Sabina Vieru will have to pay over 7 million dollars to the company she used to work for, Daimler Trucks North America LLC, former Freightliner LLC from Portland. She was caught as a result of an investigation of FBI which uncovered the fact Sabina Vieru embezzled over 6.7 million dollars from the accounts of the company's clients, transferring more than 3 million dollars into her own account. With that money she bought several properties in the US. A part of the money was invested also in a real estate project on the Black Sea seaside.

The project is called Sea Breeze Resort, it gathers five buildings and it is placed in the northern side of Mamaia Resort, in the perimeter known as Warehouse 10. According to www.seabreeze.ro, SC Black Sea Development Grup SRL, having its registered office at Năvodari, Albinelor Street, developed the project. Among the associates was also Sabina Vieru. The project benefited by a great campaign of publicity in all the big financial magazines from the country, which presented in praise words "the 15 million dollars investment" from the seaside.

Black Sea Development Grup, now in insolvency, was found in 2005 having as founders the "Americans" Sica Nacu, Samuel Ranca, Sabina Vieru, Gavril Sighiartău and Robert Bransford Rosenberg. Two years later, Sabina Vieru and Gavril Sighiartău transferred 10 of the 40 shares to Cristian Şerban, a citizen from Ontario, as "American" as the others. In 2009, Sabina Vieru drew back from the company. And, even if it's said Sabina Vieru invested the stolen money into the real estate business, it looks like it wasn't enough. In October 2007, Black Sea Development Grup took a loan of 1,4 million Euros, mortgaging the buildings from Sea Breeze Resort.

We tried to contact Cristian Şerban for a point of view regarding his ex-associate, Sabina Vieru, and the allegations that she invested the stolen money from the United States of America in Sea Breeze Resort, but we couldn't reach him.

Cristian Şerban is also involved in Black Sea Consulting Grup, Black Sea Development Grup, Stone Construction Group, Black Sea Investments Company, Marom Stil and Marine Engine Services.
