13 companies are willing to make the brand of Romania

romania.jpgYesterday, the evaluating commission constituted by the Ministry of the Tourism opened 13 offers received from the companies or associations interested to "Making the touristic brand of Romania", the Ministry of the Tourism is informing in a press release. 

Famous companies in Great Britain, United States of America, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Portugal and Romania joined the contest for having the chance of creating the future brand of our country. Yesterday, within the first stage of the proceedings of granting the contract of public acquisition, there were open the envelopes containing selection and qualification documents. Those 13 bidders which presented the required qualification documents are the following:

7. Inarea Strategic Design SRL - associated leader, Cappelli Communication SRL - partner, IPK International GmbH - partner,

8. Nouveau Monde DDB Ecomonic Interest Group (EIG) (DDB Travel & Tourism) - associated leader, Detente Consultants - partner, IPSOS - partner,

The next step is the thorough check of all documents received, and then the qualified bidders who passed the second stage of the auction will have to bring in the technical offers, that is projects for making the touristic brand of Romania. The funds necessary to make the national touristic brand, two million Euros, will be allocated by Romania by means of the Regional Operational Programme, Priority Axis 5 - Sustainable Development and promotion of tourism, key area of intervention 5.3. - "Promoting the tourism potential and setting-up the needed infrastructure in order to increase Romania's attractivity as tourism destination", Operation "Creation of a positive image of Romania as a tourism destination by defining and promoting the national tourism brand".
