3 million euro cocaine, brought through Port of Constanta

On February 14, 2014, prosecutors from the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism - Central Structure with judicial police officers in the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and the Constanta Squad for Combating Organized Crime conducted a total of eight house searches in the municipality of Constanta, in an action in countering high-risk drug trafficking.
The evidence on the file show that the defendant KKI, a Lebanese citizen living in Romania, together with the defendant AA, Kuwaiti-born French citizen, came into possession of large quantities of cocaine which was introduced in Romania through Port of Constanta and that they have taken action to remove from the country, by sea, part of the drugs through the same port on February 14, 2014, with the help of so far unidentified persons.
On February 14, 2014 investigators proceeded to finding flagrant crime, during which the amount captured was about 30 kg of cocaine. Drugs market value amounts to 3 million Euros.
Prosecutors from the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism - Central Structure ordered the preventive measure of detention for two people,
Note that in this case the investigated persons receive legal and constitutional guarantee of the benefit of the doubt.
