On April 2nd 2013, during the official meeting he had with Constanta’s local government representatives, Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of Rotterdam, said that between him and Mayor Radu Mazare there are differences and also similarities. On the other hand, however, Aboutaleb spoke about the similarities: "I think we're both modern as mayors. He is, in his own way, in relationships with people in town, I do the same. Never alone, always with people around me. We go through the neighborhoods and talk to the people about everything. Mazare makes things in his own personal way".
Although this time Mazare had a “reasonable“ clothing, without accessories and bright colors, he had, however, some accents that highlighted his clothes from the crowd: deep ocher yellow laces and blue socks with yellow polka dots.
Ahmed Aboutaleb is 51 years old and he is Moroccan. According to his statements, he lives in Holland since he was 15 years old. Unlike Constanta’s Mayor, the Mayor of Rotterdam wore a simple, elegant suit and tie.
