"Blessed birth week"

The Diyanet of the Muslim Cult in Romania, Constanţa General Consulate of the Turkish Republic, by the courtesy of the attaché for religious services and the National College "Kemal Atatürk" in Medgidia is developing cultural and religious activities to mark the "blessed birth week".

The events are scheduled between 14^th to 21^st of April 2009, under aegis of "blessed birth week". The first action will take place tomorrow, starting from 18.00 hrs, la National College of Arts Maria the Queen from Constanţa, and will be followed by a meeting on 17^th of April, at the Children's House in Bucharest. On 18^th of April, 14.30 hrs, the Children's House in Tulcea will host the 3^rd event. The others activities within the "blessed birth week" will be held at Tuzla Mosque (20^th of April, 16.00 hrs) and Abdul Mecid Mosque from Medgidia (21^st of April, 14.30 hrs). Guests from Constanţa General Consulate of Turkish Republic, the General Council Haluk Agca from Turkish Repubic, the Mufti of Trabzon County, Ahmet Bulut, from Bulgaria, the Mufti Dobrici Bilal Darcan area, the chorus of the Muslim Theological School from Şumen and members of the Muslim community are invited to take part in these activities.

According to the statement of the eparchial secretary, cultural and religious activities dedicated to the blessed birth week are organised throughout all the Balkan countries. At the invitation of the Mufti of Dobrici area, a delegation from the Diyanet of the Muslim Cult, led by Mufti Iusuf Muurat, went to Dobrici on Tuesday, to participate to a symposium dedicated to this celebration.
