Cristian Pavalasc, the new manager of the airport

Păvălaşc was installed in position by order of Ministry of Transport, Radu Berceanu.

According to representatives of Constanţa County Council, which holds 20% of the shares of Constanţa International Airport from Mihail Kogălniceanu, the official document had arrived since Tuesday evening.

Păvălaşc replaced Constantin Teodorescu, the former provisional manager of the airport. Teodorescu will stick to the management team in the position of Development Manager.

Cristian Păvălaşc has the support of PSD [Social Democrat Party]. He is 46 years old and he was a military pilot during 1998 and 2004, within Mihail Kogălniceanu air base. After 2004, he held the position of manager within a company producing software for airports.
