Big celebration at the company RAJA SA Constanta on April, 29th 2013 when was inaugurated the South Eforie Wastewater Treatment Plant, an investment of RON 139,739,789. The event was attended by the Minister of Environment and Forests, Rovana Plumb, the Minister of EU Funds, Eugen Teodorovici, the CEO of SC RAJA SA, Felix Stroe, the president of Constanta County Council, Nicuşor Constantinescu, the Archbishop of Tomis, his Eminence Teodosie, the representatives of the EBRD and of the manufacturer Concrete & Rohrabau CF Thymiana Gmbh & Co. KG Germany. Guests were greeted with bread and salt and white flowers, offered by a group of children.
Accompanied by the RAJA brass band, the ribbon was cut by officials of the two ministries, Rovana Plumb and Eugen Teodorovici, by the president of Constantaa County Council, Nicuşor Constantinescu, by the Archbishop of Tomis, his Eminence Teodosie, by the CEO of RAJA SA, Felix Stroe, and the Mayor of Eforie City, Ovidiu Brăiloiu. "Today is a special day for RAJA SA. Today is the day we inaugurate the wastewater treatment station, a goal of the utmost importance, which will ensure that water discharged into the Black Sea is clean. Thus we have clean beaches, the waters are clean as well, and the number of tourists will increase. This station is equipped with modern technologies. We can consider a benchmark for all treatment plants in Romania. The station will retrieve and process wastewater from Eforie, Agigea, Tuzla, Techirghiol, Costineşti and Schitu" said Felix Stroe.
