National Liberal Party (NLP) withdraws its ministers from the Romanian Government and demands the resignation of the prime minister Victor Ponta.
Liberal leadership adopted Tuesday night the resolution regarding the Liberals exit from the government, and thus to dissolve the Social Liberal Union (SLU). "Through repeated and flagrant violation by the prime minister Ponta of elements in the composition of the government, NLP has decided to end the crises artificial prolonged by the prime minister (...), to withdraw its ministers from the cabinet, along with resignation of all NLP officials: secretaries of State, heads of agencies. Until 12 o'clock tomorrow, our ministers will formally submit their resignation from the government registry. A second decision is to request the resignation of the prime minister Victor Ponta", declared NLP president Crin Antonescu, after the meeting of the Permanent Delegation of NLP.
