Friday, during the Congress
and General Council of Women Organization of EPP, which takes place at the
Parliament's Palace, Sulfina Barbu, President of Women Organization of PD-L,
has been elected vice-president of Women Organization of EPP.
On this occasion, was also elected the new leadership of Women Organization of EPP.
According to Mediafax, the Executive Council of EPP - Women Organization is elected for five years and it consists of president, six vice-presidents, one secretary general and one treasurer.
"It is a gain for Women Organization of PD-L and for involvement of Romanian women in politics. This vote honors and obliges me to enforce both problems and solutions of the Romanian women on the European political agenda. This way, WOPD-L has received a direct political support to continue social campaigns in Romania", declared Sulfina Barbu, according to the press release.
