Traian Basescu, president of Romania Another warship is coming to Black Sea

During an official visit on USS Donald Cook, Romanian president Traian Basescu said that another American warship will come to the Black Sea after destroyer USS Donald Cook leaves.
Donald Cook arrived in the Black Sea last week for exercises and operations to improve interoperability, increase readiness and enhance relationships. A French vessel is also in Constanta to show support, Basescu said.
Last month, USS Truxtun, a guided-missile destroyer, conducted naval drills with Romania and Bulgaria in the Black Sea. According to U.S. Navy, the “routine“ military exercises were planned long before the crisis in Crimea annexed by Russia.
