"Tomis Archbishoprics, Mangalia Protopope" has replaced "PNTCD" and the "eye" of Maniu and Coposu. And this is so in spite of the fact that the place is litigated and according to the law, in such situations, it cannot be rented until a final court decision is issued.
We asked the involved parties how this "miracle" was possible and which were the means, more or less legal, of doing so. The chief of Constanţa PNTCD, Tudorel Chesoi was very surprised to find out that the light sign of the party was made vanish and the clerics settled down there. "Really, they took the sign down? This is the first time I hear about this. All I can say is that the party lodged a criminal complaint against Tusac, for abuse of office and we are waiting for the authority's reaction. We will also initiate a civil lawsuit for reception. We are even preparing a meeting in order to stop this abuse, and if they don't allow us to do so, although it would be illegal to be restrained from doing this peaceful action, all PNTCD members will group and take a "walk" together, in front of Mangalia City Hall", Tudorel Chesoi declares.
The abuse of office is already investigated by Mangalia policemen. "This case has been brought to our attention and an investigation is already being carried on. PNTCD lodged a complaint against the mayor Mihai Claudiu Tusac for abuse of office and for breaking in the party's office. The conclusions of the investigation will be shortly made public", declares the chief of Mangalia Municipal Police, commissar chief Nicolae Pescaru. Priest steward Eugen Tănăsescu, spokesman of Tomis Archbishoprics, is stating that it's no concern of this institution's the fact that the place is litigated or that PNTCD members were abusively thrown out. "The place was rented by the Municipality to Mangalia Protopope. I am not interested in anything else, it is none of my concern", Tănăsescu added.
Consequently, Mangalia Protopope, maybe because of the "wealth" of the area or as a response to ardent prayers of local priest - has two offices. One in the courtyard of Mangalia Municipal Hospital, a place where about 600 million old lei were invested, and this new office, which, although litigated, may easily serve the growing needs of Mangalia priests.
