Elena Udrea is invigorating the tourism on the sea coast with „Lumina la malul Marii"
„Lumină la malul Mării" - [The light on the sea coast]
For the Easter time, The Minister of Tourism wishes to stop Romanians from crossing the boarders to our Bulgarian neighbours and to give them reasons to spend these celebrations on the local littoral.
The program "Lumină la malul Mării", including attractive touristic offers, is the manner in which Elena Udrea is planning to invigorate the littoral tourism. In the opening of the National Fair for Tourism, she stated that starting from the Easter day until the official opening of the season, the tourists will be able to spend on the littoral 6 nights, breakfast included, in two star hotels, against the sum of 2 million old lei, in three star hotel against "a little more than 3 million old lei", and in four star hotels against about 4 million lei. Once they have eaten traditional dishes, they will be able to listen to Goran Bregovic and Gheorghe Zamfir. Goran Bregović and Wedding & Funeral Orchestra will concert on the beach of Mamaia resort. The artist coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the most known composers and musicians in the Balkans. He wrote for famous artists like Cesaria Evora, and his songs were used as soundtracks for Emir Kusturica movies. On 18th of April, Mamaia resort will also host the multi-ethnic folk show "Sărbătoarea Dobrogeană" [Dobrugea Feast], including Dobrugea, Greek, Aromanian and Turkish-Tatar traditional dances, and for the Easter Day there will be organised a trip to St. Andrew's Monastery.
