In less than a month since he was appointed, the Prefect Claudiu Palaz dared to involve in solving some difficult situations, which have been dallied for years. After the decision regarding the proper appropriation of the inhabitants of Rasova, he decided to clear up the situation of the boundary between the localities.

The prefect Claudiu-Iorga Palaz requested the leadership of the Office of Cadastre and Land Registration (OCLR) Constantza to urgently start the cadastral delimitation of the administrative-territorial units from the county.

According to Palaz, approximately 20-30% of the localities must be delimitated.

Old conflicts come to surface

The Director of OCLR, Stere Sponte, confirmed that there are some issues about the boundary between: Negru Voda and Cerchezu, Cerchezu and Ciocarlia, Valu lui Traian and the neighbouring localities, Albesti and Mangalia, Agigea and Techirghiol, and as well in Gradina. The boundary between Corbu and Sacele generated hot debates along the years. There are claims also in Crucea-Seimeni situation. Concerning the negotiation with Agigea, who knows if the administration would be so gentle.

The effects of delimitation

"Once the limits of the administrative-territorial units become official, there will be possible to accelerate the procedures for zonal urban plans approval and for title of property emission, and the local councils should be able to collect land taxes," said the Prefect Claudiu Palaz.

Once the boundaries settled, the series of problems generated by the lack of delimitation of the administrative-territorial units should be eliminated.
