COSMOTE Romania announces the 5 winners of the COSMOTE Scholarships program

COSMOTE Scholarships, the social responsibility program launched this year by COSMOTE Romania, announces the 5 winners, who will benefit from financial support during their academic studies. Following the interviews sessions that took place on November 5^th and 6^th, the jury evaluated each of the 25 finalists and selected 5 young talented students that will each receive the equivalent in lei of 150 Euro/month, for nine months (October - June) per year, throughout the performance of the university studies.

The winners of the scholarships are: Stupariu Ioana-Florina, Iliescu Lucian-Ionel, Pirvu Andreea-Elena, Ursulean Magda and Pop Radu-Cristian. The 5 talented young students were announced during an awarding ceremony, in the presence of Stefanos Theocharopoulos, COSMOTE Romania CEO, COSMOTE Romania top management representatives and jury members.

"We are very proud to be able to make a diffrence for 5 talented students who proved to be determined, ambitious and passionate to become the leaders of tomorrow. The first edition of the program is indeed a success, judging from the quality and number of all the applications and we congratulate all the participants for the outstanding performances so far and wish them all the best in the future", stated Ruxandra Voda, Corporate Affairs Manager COSMOTE Romania.

The 5 winners of the program were evaluated by the COSMOTE Scholarship jury, made of Irina Anghel, experienced lawyer in mergers and acquisitions, specialized in purchases made by private investment funds, but also University Lecturer at Faculty of Law within the Nicolae Titulescu University and Associate Professor at the MBA Programme developed by the Bucharest School of Management and at the "International Project Management" Master's Programme; Liliana Danaila, Human Resources Director at COSMOTE Romania; Dan Petre, Managing Partner at D&D Research and Associate Professor at the SNSPA Faculty of Communication and Public Relations; Sorin Psatta, Integrated Communication Director at Graffiti BBDO Romania and Lecturer at the Journalism and Communication Faculty of the University from Bucharest; and Ruxandra Voda, Corporate Affairs Manager, COSMOTE Romania.
