DB Schenker Romtrans wins Best Logistics and Operational Excellence Award for 2011

The Romanian Logistics Association ARILOG awards DB Schenker Romtrans for its innovative solutions offered to clients in Romania.

(Bucharest, November 2011) DB Schenker Romtrans was rewarded for its inovative ideas in logistics solution and moreover for its high standards in operational qualities it offers to its Romanian clients.

One of the new solutions to customers proposed by DB Schenker Romtrans consists of distributing products out of multible distribution centers instead of the past model of one single distribution center in Romania.The advantages which were presented in concrete figurs resulted in reduced logistics costs and better leadtimes to end-customers.

Introducing a new double deck trailer solution was another reason for the award. A new mutable-load-layer concept inside a truck which DB Schenker Romtrans offers leads to drastically increases in the load capacities up to more
