Rompetrol introduces Winter Diesel, the Fuels Range dedicated to the Winter Season

Rompetrol Downstream, the Retail Division of the Rompetrol Group started to deliver to its warehouses and gas stations in Romania the new range of Diesel fuels (Efix Winter Diesel and Winter Alto55) for the winter season.

The fuels will be available in mid-December in all the gas stations operated by the Rompetrol Group in Romania (its own gas stations, Rompetrol Expres, Rompetrol Partener), Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova.

The range of Winter Diesel fuels is produced by the Petromidia refinery and it contains special additives meant to increase the functioning of the machines at low temperatures of up to -26 degrees Celsius, the decrease of the viscosity and, implicitly, of the disposal of the deposits inside the filters.

The Winter Diesel fuel was first sold in the Rompetrol gas stations during the 2004 - 2005 season.

The Rompetrol Group launched in March the Efix fuels (Efix Diesel and Efix Benzina 95) also in Bulgaria, after launching them in Romania, Moldova and Georgia in 2007, 2008 and 2009 respectively. The Efix range was especially created to protect the engine and to improve the performances of the cars, while fully complying with the quality standards of the European Union - Euro 5.

Currently, the Rompetrol Group operates a network of over 1,100 fuel stations in Bulgaria, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, France, Spain and Romania, where it has over 450 gas stations.
