Samsung Galaxy Tab is now available in COSMOTE and Germanos stores

Samsung Galaxy Tab is now available in COSMOTE Romania and Germanos stores both with voice and data subscriptions or loose, thus completing the products portfolio with a new category of devices, meant to innovate and improve the mobile experience.

Samsung Galaxy Tab is available in COSMOTE and Germanos stores at 2,799 lei, VAT included, shelf price, the customers being able to acquire the wonder device also with data or voice subscription. Thus, the prices start at 1,322 lei (VAT included) with Connect Ultra+ subscription for two year.

With a wide touchscreen at 7" (17.5 cm), Galaxy Tab is the optimal device to wear all over and stay connected to the digital world around the clock, as it weighs only 385 grams. Also, it has a 3MP digital camera - unique to a tablet PC on the Romanian market. Another advantage is that the internal memory, of 16GB, can be extended with a memory card, thanks to the Micro SD slot which can add up to 32 GB of storage.

The operating system is a multitasking Android 2.2, very permissive in terms of downloading and installing third party software applications. Another advantage is that the device allows voice and video calls and IM. Speaking of multitasking - Galaxy Tab supports Multi-codec (DivX, Xvid), which is a unique feature, compared to rivals on the market. Also, the device has full Flash support, which makes web browsing a PC-like experience.

The mobile browsing experience is enhanced by the 3G HSDPA 7,2 Mbps connectivity and Wi-Fi allowing easy acces to internet. Also, the tablet works as a social hub, consolidating all the SNS, IM and email contacts into one "superphonebook". Moreover, GALAXY Tab customers can enjoy the powerful Augmented Reality in the most portable but highly readable format. Large 7" screen displays all the interesting and valuable points of interest revealed just by pointing your camera in a real-life environment, and sharing info via SNS (Social Networks Service).
