Azi, 29.05.2012, are loc la Bucureşti, Reuniunea Comisiei pentru cultură, ştiinţă, educaţie şi mass-media a Adunării Parlamentare a Consiliului Europei.

În cadrul Reuniunii Comisiei a APCE doamna deputat Maria Stavrositu a fost desemnată raportor pentru raportul "Violenţa în televiziuni şi consecinţele asupra copiilor". De asemenea, Stavrositu a fost desemnată să reprezinte Comisia APCE la conferinţa " Democraţia - între vechi modele şi noi realităţi" organizată de Forumul Mondial pentru Democraţie. Nivelul de reprezentare la această Conferinţă va fi ridicat, printre participanţi amintim personalităţi politice internaţionale ca:
